这段话本来是我写的女侠视频影评的结尾，但是我现在觉得可以提前放出来给大家看一下。并且，这段话其实也适于用于整个DCEU的立意。感谢非君  @fakescorpion 帮我翻译了这段话，比我怼人街头式或者网络式英语优美太多了。前面坎贝尔的那段因为我再看了《千面英雄》PDF原文已经属于理解，所以就不再做为引用。

作为 一个现代人，英雄已死，英雄代表的不是当下分裂的社会和精神，而是社会重生的永恒源泉。这就是我们为什么需要英雄，需要DCEU英雄的最根本原因。即使这个世俗的社会已经放弃了人类心中英雄的本源但不代表我们不需要它。
As an individual in modern society, I believe the ideal of heroism is dead. Heroism represents not the divided community and paranoia of now, but the potential for social renewal and rebirth.
This is the fundamental reason why we need heroes, specifically the heroes that DCEU offered. Modern society may have long given up on the idealistic roots of heroism, but that does not mean it is no longer an essential part of life.

科学的发展、文明的进步，人类所好奇的焦点也发生了变化。现在最重要的奥秘已经不是动植物世界，不是科学的领域而是人类自己。
Our priorities has changed with the advancement of technology and culture, and now the most important mystery is perhaps not the workings of nature, but the domain of humanity itself.

人类探索着自己的欲望，满足着自己的胃口，向利己主义屈服、为利己主义正名。尼采的查拉图斯特拉早已经预言了这个时代的来临，他说：“众神皆死”。而神迹、神话曾经对人类有着重大的影响，如今却被视为谎言。
We seek our out most desires and we bow down to egoism just to satisfy our selfish needs. As it was foretold in Nietzsche's Thus Spoke Zarathustra, it was declared that, "God is dead." And is it not true, that the myths that used to influence us so thoroughly were now regarded as lies?

如今英雄们需要完成的不再是伽利略那个年代的功绩，当时的黑暗之处——曾经科学的不毛之地，现在是光明的。但同样，当时的光明之处——人类的精神，我们需要神话来照亮的精神家园现在却几乎是黑暗的。而将神奇女侠和超人这样的神话和传说人物，以如此的形态带入我们的文化世界，多少带着创作者们，想再次给灵魂失落之地带来光明，完成这一现代英雄使命的原因吧。
The heroes of today need not accomplish feats of Galileo's bygone era, for what humanity used to shun as heretics were now embraced as scientific advancement. Yet what we used to embrace with open arms as spiritual wellness, were now disregarded as foolish naivety. Thus I believe updating and reintroducing modern mythical heroes such as Superman and Wonder Woman into today's society, is a task ofDCEU to recreate the wonders of spiritual heroism that was lost in this time and age.
